Late last night I checked and the fry were gone. I wasn’t too concerned because the female was still in breeding coloration. And she was circling around another container in the tank. What she did was read on the right and move the babies into that smaller container on the left. All in all a blessing. The male can’t get in there and it protects her if needed. Still, I couldn’t see the fry inside. So this morning I got up and was able to spot the fry at the bottom of the pot.

Just an observation...

Some decent photos of the pair. One thing I find interesting is that the lines that contrast against the black on the breeding dress are part white...and not the yellow green background color.
