Urgh... my only experience with alcohol and fish tanks is I like to have a few drinks when doing the water changes. To date, I've not spilled any of my vodka cocktails in the tanks (way too stingy to share).

I had a girl dump half a Smirnoff ice in one and it was fine. A little cloudy because i was way too drunk to do a water change until the next day, but still fine. I have found the less big of a deal i make about things the less likely i am to give people ideas.

I dont think it will matter, with the DIY CO2 injections they use yeast. And yeast gives off alchol so its basically like puttting alchol in your tank. Whats the diference
