Alex Rodriguez to be banned from MLB?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
It happens in basketball with buy outs. I actually think its better that way. The problem is mlb has the strongest union of the major sports.

I could be wrong but I believe the insurance covers missing a certain amount of time missed regardless of reason. He's trying hard to get called up from the minor league to restart the clock. To the point the Yankees doctor diagnosed him with a thigh strain a couple of weeks ago, yet an independent doctor found nothing. Huge chess match going between the 2 right now

In the nba the player has to agree to the buyout and players generally waive remaining salary in exchange for the opportunity to go elsewhere. NBA cant simply buyout a fringe players contract because they have someone better or cheaper to take their place like the nfl does.

You're right. I've only seen contracts voided for injuries in the NBA. think we'd see a much better product if they could void contracts NFL style in all sports

Then players will have the right to hold out when they out perform their contract, cant give the team full control without giving the player something. All these hold outs will drastically increase the number of idiots calling sport radio shows complaining about the players and how they'd play for whatever they make at their current job like america wants to see a bunch of fat bald 40 year accountants play anything.

Im 21 and played ball my whole life. Even a couple years of college ball.

You're aware that bonds wasn't liked by the sports media during his playing career, let alone now? That guy wont get in

I'd be fine with that. Being able to void contracts has helped the nfl have more competitive teams. Baseball needs fixing. A salary cap (max and minimum), no more long term contracts unless its with their current teams and ability to term contracts. Something, anything but the product they put on the field today

I don't think Mr.Hustle will ever be forgiven and welcomed back.

I DON'T DIG HIM AT ALL.. but he probably served his time...P.s . talk about baseballs all time liar ,, he invented lying to cover up being dumb:popcorn:

Theyre both two of the all time greatest players regardless. Imo anyway.

No, they're 2 good players with skewed stats that place them amongst the greats only through cheating. Its a shame cuz they were both talented before they went down that path
