He has started chasing some of the fish in the tank and has hurt one of my pbass (strips of missing scales). He is too fast to catch with a net (which is too small for him anyways) and I am afraid to try a bag as there are two large stingrays in the tank (don't want to get stung). I'm going to have to try getting a larger net.
I tried a bag before to move a smaller ray and it never worked for me as it was difficult to keep the bag open. How did you do it for your fish?
Sounds like an adventure for sure. The black was easiest, of course she is much smaller, I just guided her into the bag with a net. The silvers were much harder, especially since I had to double bag after the first try, which one just shot through the bag.
With the silvers though they are used to being touched so I just guided them into the bag with my hand. I also had the advantage of them being in a smaller tank. Not sure the bag method will work for you, better break out the fishin'pole
