I checked the website out when she gave me the confirmation printout, she was hoping it would've arrived by the 24th but till now we are waiting, but anyway when I checked I think it was still like 8-900 bucks for the package deal they had with the 2 lenses...

Wow, seen a D80 on ebay for about 1100, can't remember what all it came with though. The D40 will definitely be better than the common dig. camera. Thanks for the link, It'll still be a long time before i brake down and spend that much for a camera. sorry to derail.
