You're crazy. I've loves parrots since I saw a huge tank with hundreds of them...JDM style. My GF's favorite fish :screwy:

Very nice collection of beasts you got going , what else are you going to be putting in there ?

Off the top of my head, looking to add an orino, pinima, pack of big clown loaches, fei feng, p.e.congicus, big panaque pleco, and then my growouts...for now:naughty:

Very nice,

What's more nutritionally sound than a live fish? Only downside is the subsequent diseases that run rampant in most LFS feeder tanks. Luckily I'm lucky to have a quality connection for feeders :D

That said, I'm not one for live feedings. With arapimas, however, they usually always come in with internal parasites so I want to power feed without the stress of converting onto prepared foods.

Thanks for the comments everybody! Shouldn't take longer than a week or two for the pima to double/triple in size and go in the big tank.

i love the pima mike. GL with it.
and the parrot looks ballin, dont listen to those haters.

Thanks again Adam. I'm actually planning on grabbing another pair of them to have a trio cruise the tank. And the pima...well talk about an impulse buy!

Agree with you there on the pima feeding. The next ones I get I will be loading them up with all kinds of live food; fish, worms, crickets, etc. to bulk them past that initial critical stage. It seems that once they are past a foot, they are pretty much good to go.
