You sold the fish off? Why? Dun feel the kick in it anymore?

Sure did. Id say 2 years ago maybe? He was from IA's batch before last.
Shipped him at 13" and landed at 16.5" in NJ:screwy:... DOA though:cry::cry::cry:

Got 5 baby Armatus from IA's last batch n they checked out one by one:irked:

Now I will not get any more untill I have a real home to fit him in so I wont have to let him go due to size:naughty:

Is Armatus hard to keep? Seems like those who has it before, will see them dying somehow.

to me fish is fish... As long as water condition good...
Dun jump out and walk on land... Or get stuck in the tank ...
Being eaten by unfriendly tankmate ...

They dun die so easily. Every living things will fight to live... Plants too.
So just keep them like normal... No special attention just because it is more rare or expensive. 

think theyre quite fragile as juveniles..agreed that price or rarity does not have anything to do with their hardiness, but the death count is there and no one can ignore it..

Personally, I also find it a certain degree harder to keep as compared to the "already fragile" GATF.

The stomach gets sunken in easily, ick and appetitle, quite hard to control. Remember, initially I was saying that the feed like crazy, now they slow down alot.

Hi West,

Saw you guys' post under New Armatus Juvi pics and many nice pics and surprised that hydrolycus juveniles are indeed fragile.

I think I have barged-into this challenge without knowing much about this fish....but I like the challenge. You know roughly how big will armatus be stablized?
