I thought you might have been referring to one of the novels...I don't really get into the cartoon because I don't care for the artwork,I feel that a Star Wars cartoon deserves more realistic looking artwork

With the advanced CG in today's age, I find it amusing how they still make crappy looking cartoons. Even when I was a kid the cartoons looked better.
 
I'm debating if this is worth watching in 3D

what do you guys who've seen it think?


it doesn't have to be as awesome as the greatest movie in 3D ever that is Avatar in 3D, but do you think it'll be good in 3D?
 
I didn't go 3D and am glad I did not. There weren't enough scenes where it would have benefited to be worth the headache.

Spoilers below for those who hasn't seen it:










While the villain wasn't powerful enough to my taste as well, I understand since the Rey chick is a noob also. Villain is obviously in training. But when he uses the force it's badass. Especially when he stopped the tazer gun shot in mid-air

But I was pretty irritated by the fact than Fin was able to hold his own for a good minute against the villain and even injuring him. Bad guy should've been able to beat him pretty quickly.

And it was very similar to a new hope. Desert kid is chased by bad guys, worlds blow up by fat death star, desert kid joins the rebels, gets a taste of the force, fat death star has weak spot that is exploited

But overall I think it was decent. Weak plot thus far though. Characters not great. I did like that they had an old school feel to it with the wardrobe, sceneries and fight scenes. Nothing too flashy or too crazy

Im not sure how anyone can tell if a movie was worth 3D without seeing it in 3D. So im looking forward to your opinion on the 3d aspect of it
 
I thought the Villain was amazing before he took off his mask. After that he lost credibility for me. I liked the new actors though, Daisy Ridley makes the most out of the shallow character she's been given.
