It doesn't take much to have an allergic reaction, so ingestion isn't necessary to ellicit one. I have allergic reactions to bloodworms too, though it's not as severe as to include having trouble breathing. My eyes puff up real bad and get blood red and I do mean blood red. Even after washing my hands after handling the frozen food I still have this severe allergic reaction, so I feel your pain bro! It completely blows my mind too since it's the only thing I'm allergic to. Allergy season always comes and goes leaving a horrible swath of destruction to everyone in my family, except myself.

yeah just touching the stuff or accidentally inhalling some of the dust in the freeze dried BW jar my body just goes nuts. i hate it .

No BW allergies, but when my hay fever is acting up or my histamine level is high, Masivore Pellets were triggering an allergic reaction!? Fingers got all ichy as did my eyes...Hasn't happened in a while though, as I crunched up some last night without issues and have been for weeks.

Weird...
