Well Waylon at least you know what kind of fish you have now.
You should also heed the advice of the several posts concerning some research on your Aligator Gars.

Some of the alligator gars here near houston lives near the mouth of the trinity river, which opens up to trinity bay. I wont be surprised to see them in brackish water. But, yeah, that thing is not an alligator gar.
 
I changed 20 more gallons this morning i think theyll be ok they can survive in brackish for a short time because they some times enter it in the wild it now reads 1.000 now if i can get them to eat maybey go to walmart and get some goldfish.

i would try to get them on prepaired foods, like pellots and shrimp,
