Alligator drags Toddler in water at Disney Resort

The article I read phrases it as an active search for the boy...I really hate to say it but the kid is history. The gator finished him up in less then 5 minutes.

This happened less than 24 hrs ago with no remains found, so they have to tag it as an active search. But, I believe everybody knows the grim reality.
Hopefully, the child blacked-out at the point of attack and didn't suffer at all.

they need to add a "do not feed the alligators" sign with a kid in ones mouth.

I guess the gators are hungry. Isn't it breeding season for them? Where was that huge one that was walking across the golf course a few weeks ago?

People tend to forget that American alligators are capable man-eaters, and do ignorant/stupid things like recreate along the waters edge

Well here we go again. A 2yr. old toddler was taken in the water by alligator. They have signs posted that clearly say no swimming, but the parents allowed the toddler to wade in the water any way.

Just very sad
