alligator gar size

Ar
Are you sure
Cause mine has lived in large tanks all his life
that was what I learned from Solomon and Richard. They've done the research, and I do think it is true. My 2 current spotted gars were 24 and 25'' when I caught them 2 years ago and now they are over 25'' and 26''(last time I measure them was back in April, 2015). While most people I've seen with Florida and spotted that they keep from small and over feed has grown very quick at first but after 20-22'' they don't seem to grow for many years.

Headbanger you just insulted one of the most respected members on mfk!-)

You might want to measure em correctly
lol oops. You just delivered a shot to someone who could probably fit all the aquariums you've owned in your life inside one of his. I'm sure if a gator gar is given a 15 foot aquarium with clean water and a consistent feeding schedule 33" in 9 months isn't crazy. I seen 2 28" gars after a year in a 180 gallon

its not a shot neither was posted trying to insult or be rude

And about all my tanks, I think I've enough big tanks and ponds to even take a swim in them.

But that doesn't make me right or wrong, vincentwugwg vincentwugwg , now that I read the post again, I apologize, but I don't believe about the 3' A. Spatula in an year.

the tank comment was just to put his aquarium size in perspective. Not to be taken literally.
