Thank you for reconsidering what your doing:thumbsup: Maybe over the years you even start developing a apreciation for them and the role they play in the ecossistem.

lol me to would love to have them as natives. Lots of skinks which is similiar as far as elongated body goes but would love alligators as skinks mostly hide.

I think you also have skinks by you?

I saw 2 fighting in yard yesterday behind a flowerpot thus its close to mating season.

I would kill to have wild lizards around my house. If I want to find lizards around where I live I have to head up to the mountains.

You should have skinks up your way, no? Five-lined skinks? I know they are the only native CT lizard, I always dreamed of finding one but never did. I did catch a tokay gecko once in CT...obviously not a native though.

We have Five-Lined, Coal and Broad Headed Skinks as well as Eastern Fence Lizards here in PA but the only species I've ever found are Five-lines.
