basically, build up slowly lotsa plants good forage ground find good microrganisms and build it up slowly.

yes, it's a project for patient people... Per stage would mean 3-4 weeks at minimum, atleast... you do need to let all the organisms thrive first.. I've done it so far with my corydoras, they only got 1x per week feeding for me cause I impatiently got impatient. Still works, they're happy by means of normal activity.

I can find all the things around me here in my place, it's kind of the edge where it's sub-urban. From insects, worms, daphnia, leeches (for turtles), and other things to feed, have to create traps though in order to get or collect them early in the morning...
