Alright guys (and girls) I'm reaching out.

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I dont want to quote all of you so this is in response to the "getaway" posts.
I love those ideas, and I would like to do all of them, but we are not married, and we believe in the sanctity of marriage, so we try not to plan any "getaways" that would just be the 2 of us. So, while those ideas are awesome, I'm looking more for a gift that I can "hand" to her. Thanks for the responses though!

I got a spa package for me and my wife for our anniversary. That usually goes very well, nothing like having people pamper you for a day.

yes this is what i was going to advise, its my plan for my G/F's birthday in august.

get together all the photos of you two over the past 6 years and put them all together in an album..almost like a scrap book of the years you've been together....she will go nuts..1st because you made it yourself...2ndly because of the thought involved....take her out to dinner and spring it on her after dinner ;)

Agree there. A g/f did this for me and even as a guy I thought it was awesome.

Can even get scrapbooking paper and make like theme pages.

Not at all! I am a scrapbooking freak! (I'm female also), but no matter what it looks like she will absolutely love it.
That sounds like the best idea so far!!

how does a getaway affect marriage:confused:
