Looks like he would enjoy coffee flavored gum.
If his name isn't Iggy thats a missed opportunity lol.

My dog is actually very good at not taking things without being told he can.
however being half hound he will happily just drool on me and then he pretty much gets what he wants.

Sorry his name is Pip. Any misbehavior is my fault because he is a little spoiled. He has some good points tho. He is totally house broken, politle around guests, doesn't chase my chickens, doesn't bark much, and looks fabulous in floral hats at my daughter's tea parties.

Ah nice reference to 'great expectations'
Sounds like you couldnt ask for better tbh.
I have never met any bostons personally, a friend of mine has a chug and that dog was hell for the first few years and then mellowed out completely.
besides that I've never owned any of the smaller dog breeds, just a Lurcher, Purebred english lab & my current boy a black lab X redbone coonhound.

do you have a full body shot of him? I've seen some pretty deformed looking bostons around my city with hunchbacks. I don't think i've ever seen one with a nice physique and I am curious

I got mine from a pretty good breeder. She let me meet all her breeding adults and see where amd how they were housed. It was really important to us that if we were going to spend as much money as we did, that we werent supporting a puppy mill or substandard practices. Good conformation and sound genetics were important to her and it showed in all of her parent dogs.

Bostons are a big dog in a little package. Smart, funny, naturals with kids, sensitive to their people. You just have to learn to love the snoring, burping, farting, snuffeling pig sounds... Lol

Nice, those are actually really nice looking dogs. Much better shape than the ones I've seen with hunch backs.
In my city there is an overabundance of french bulldogs that cost $2000-$4000.
They seem like nice dogs but they have so many health issues and can't even breed without artificial insemination.
IMO bostons are the example of a more healthy frenchie, equally as good temperament.

Thanks for sharing you have a beautiful dog!

Sounds like my house already. Lol. I’m in.

I hear they have less nasal issues than frenchies too since the snout is slightly longer. Have you found that to be true?

They are a little snuffely but not as bad as frenchies, English, or pugs. Bostons are more athletic than those breeds. Its like having a boxer, but travel sized lol.
