Am I crazy for wanting an FX5 for my 100g?

wow you need to clean the fx5 out every 4-5 weeks

i dont have to open my pro3 up until 6 months have passed even then its just to change the white pads :D

Im onboard with the fanatic on this. i've switched from fluvals to rena. Fluvals were problematic and Renas will be easier for my wife to handle when Im away. you cant have too much filtration, just as long as you dont have too much current.
 
just installed it and its shooting out microbubbles but it seems to lessen as time passes. hopefully it will be all gone by tomorrow.

You've got BioMax in all three chambers? What?! Haha! How does that polish your water? I'm thinking of getting another one or two for my 300gal. Having one with polyfiber, one with BioMax, and one with just carbon. BOO YAHAAA!!! The foam inserts on the outer ring are almost pointless it seems...lol....
 
my boy (sinisterj) has 2 on his 120g dat tank and it's fine. go search out his pics he made a custom intake and output for 1 of the FX5 and he swears the water flow is way more than the other FX5 with factory pieces.
