am i overstocked?

wow, look what ive been missing. op, yes you are overstocked, the oscar should go to a larger tank asap. the jacks will get good size too but you have some time to think about upgrading before they need to go. there are plenty of central americans that can go in your tank if you were to start over.
keep in mind...you dont need anything like a 300 gallon to keep your fish, i dont know what that post was about. the fish you have are not really too aggressive actually sort of mild as compared to alot of other centrals.

Honestly, you've still said nothing about the FISH. This is a FISH site. In particular, it's MONSTER fish keepers. It seems that your trolling tendencies have carried over. Is the tank overstocked?
i dont do very many water changes like i should, but i do a 20 gallon change once a month but my parameters are all in check and my water is clear so...... idk i hope i dont get harrased for this lol

Op, all the other advice is perfect. As for the upstairs part, you should be fine as long as you keep it against a wall where there is good structural bracing and whatnot.. Any well built house/apartment should definitely be able to hold a 125 gallon setup. As for the water changes, I would for sure bump that up atleast to the 20 gallons a week until you can upgrade, more if you can.. Good luck to you and your fish.
