I have FEW friends that have tanks and they mostly have salt for some reason. and at least one of them is stupid as hell and I don't get how he keeps anything alive.
 
You are NOT the only one my neghbor has a ten gallon with tetras but she is forty+ i am 13 and she thank she knows everything.
 
Tried dragged my sister and my cousin into the hobby.....all of their fish died so they dont want more fish......Im might set up another 55gal as display tank for my parents since they fell in love with one of my Electric blue jack dempsey.
 
It would be and is nice to have someone as interested in your hobby as you are, butttt, after all it is your hobby, so enjoy it, and sometime when youre lookin at plastic plants fish etc. at the LFS look around, strike up a conversation with another hobbyist, maybe you will make a friend, someonr you can help or he can help you, and....a fish buddy :nilly:
 
I started cuz my dad was into fish keeping when he was a kid... in fact.. my uncle is also a crazy fish keeper.... so i think i'm the odd ball here...

BUT my mom and my friends all say that i'm crazy.. so i guess that part i'm the same...

And yes.. it does get lonely when you dont have friends who are into fish keeping... they talk about WoW or the latest games (which cost as much as fish keeping).... but i never got into WoW ( World of Warcraft)
 
amen man... im one of you people lol i have a cousin who likes this stuff though.. but shhhh he doesnt count my friends are all like your rediculous
