Am I the only one?

my girlfriend and i are doing are part for population control. we've talked about it, and we just dont see ourselves having kids after we get married in a few years. i'm 25, and most of my friends are on their second or third kid.

they keep telling us to have kids, but i think only so we can join in on the misery! so, no kids for me, no thanks! and there is NOTHING wrong with being this way

I don't want kids either, but in saying that, I have 3. I always say I should have stuck with dogs! (I do love them though, but if I had my life over I'd have none)

Is there anyone else with the "balls" to step up and say "I DON'T WANT KIDS!"?

I'm tired of people telling me "You'll change your mind" or "I felt the same way" or "It's different if it's your own"

Bottom line: I don't want kids. I never have wanted kids. I'm old enough to know that I don't want a damn thing to do with them.
If you want to have children, then that's fine. I admire your drive. I want nothing to do with them. Leave me out of it.

This is not a thread for current or future parents to tell me what I'm missing, or how much they love, or how life isn't complete blah blah blah.
I'm just curious if I'm the only one that's tired of being second guessed.

my aunt didnt want kids,so she made sure she never will lol
and im getting too old,in the next few years will probably have some kids

I want kids, but only one of them to be mine. After one kid, I will adopt. The world is overpopulated enough as is.

same here,im like the only one in my "group" that doesnt have kids yet
and everyones always asking when lol
