I have no idea on the local, I'm hoping you can help with this. In Australia I was lucky to stumble across these guys at all, I have 6 in total, the female has only just started colouring up over the last couple of weeks.
What's your thoughts?

Unfortunately I'm not sure what's been exported to Australia, in the US we have four locales, but only two circulating around at the moment. Only way to tell the difference between the ones here is their breeding dress. The limon ones are the easiest to distinguish in the US, as they have the black barred breeding dress (they're the only locale of this variant that has been imported). The Rio San Jose and Rio corinto are the same fish pretty much, as both are offshoots of the Rio sucio. They have the purple and blue breeding dress, seen below:
San Juan, iirc, has a black breeding dress like the limon variant, but no bars.
Yours are very nice, whatever they are. I wish you luck with them. Your males should grow huge in the 500.
