Amazon water temp valve $30

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Is this just good for a drip system or does it have a substantial flow rate?
I use it with a Python for water changes.

I need one suitable for draining and refilling a 200 gallon system and this looks a little small for that.

It’s got a 1/2” output on it...

As much flow a you can get out of 1/2”....

It’s pretty substantial.

I have 1/2" supply lines to my utility sink. I installed it that way to fill tanks faster.

I might want something that hangs on the wall, and some filters. Right now I just filter the cold side.

Of course last week the water was coming in at 80F so it's not a big need yet.

80? Why so warm?

I live in the desert and it's 95~105 here for about two months.
Water coming from the city tanks is probably 90F+ but cools down to about 80 as it goes through the underground pipes.

I aerate my water to cool it a bit when I do changes in the summer.

But in winter I am Sir Mixalot.

I'm soaking some bogwood in my utility sink and the tap water is even hotter than I thought.
