Good morning fish lovers
I'm planning to upgrade to a 75G in a couple of days
I currently have a 30G with 2 keyhole
1 threadfin acara.
1 paradise gourami
1 rainbow shark
I plan to rehome the shark and gourami
My questions are. What American cichlids can I have in my 75G
What are some peaceful amercian cichlids that won't bother my very peaceful keyholes

As longs as it's peaceful
I don't want my keyholes to have to worry or swim for their life
The acara can defend himself

I would suggest Rams.

It is the only peaceful cichlid specie I can think of atm . ☺ 1m/3 female ratio.

Btw keep your I on the Heckelii they can be pushy have one pushing 9 inches.

In my opinion, I wouldn't keep other cichlids with keyholes if you want them to prosper. I've found them to be very meek and they don't do well with other more boisterous cichlids.

Electric Blue Acaras. Tons of color and personality. They also don't get too big, stopping at about 6".
