Which is better? My LFS carries both and the Amquel is usually cheaper, but I have been using Prime for some reason...I would make a poll but I still haven't figured it out, even at over 1,000 posts

I always go with Amquel its like a universal fixer, I always keep two of their biggest bottles around the house, I use it for water changes when adding new fish and many other things
Prime is more concentrated,so you use less.
I have used both,and they both work fine,but Prime will save you $$ in the long run.

I use Prime, not for any important reason, just because that was the brand the guy at my lfs recommended.
I used Amquel for a few years and switched to Prime this year. Prime is better in my opinion because Prime takes out chlorine, chloramines, and nitrite/nitrate/ammonia like Amquel does, but it also adds slime coat. Amquel doesn't and you would need to add Novaqua for that. Plus, Amquel+ smells so horrible.

A bottle of prime will last much longer
I use NovAqua+ I buy a 1 gal bottle for $35 it last a long time and I love this stuff. It works great Keeps my fish happy and healthy. I like Kordon's products. The larger bottle or jug you buy the more money you save in the long run. NovAqua+ IMO does not smell at all.
