anaconda question

The can get big i have seen pictures of people inside them. And i have seen pictures Burmese pythons and African rock pythons eat gators and full size deer.

anacaondas are the heaviest of the snake species but not the longest that title goes to the reticulated python... i had to get rid of my old retic.....waaaaa... now all i have to do is talk the woman into letting me get another one (which wont happen she is why i get rid of all of my snakes in the first place she hates snakes and is scared of them)

i've had 4 anaconds, and the largest one was 8ft. i've seen many-a large condas as well, most in captivity only reach about 15-18ft, others get dwarfed, or die from their keepers cageing them improperly.

the first pic is VERY fake it looks like an inflated water pump

It will never get that big in captivity but in the wild... Bigger!

I personaly do not believe that an anaconda can eat a full grown adult. But a kid is not out of the question.

The very few true accounts of anacondas successfully swallowing humans involved teenagers in their early-mid teens. Depending on the culture, this is fairly close to most adults, so if a particularly large 'conda was involved (say, 18 ft plus), I wouldn't say adult humans are out of the question.

For an adult GREEN anaconda, eating a person is NOT out of the question. (Yellow - no way, they stay too small) It doesn't happen that often, but there are a handful of recorded cases in South America.

PinkDyegirl is right, most captive animals are kept incorrectly, thus ending in growth stunting. I've kept 6 different greens. Smallest was 7', largest was 15'. Here's a small one:
