Anacondas

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Question for the OP:

You seem to say it's easy to get stuff and it's all over the place, yet you are on here asking for help finding something.... why?
I would love to see pics of your set up to house multiple adult greens for breeding. I have had a couple of groups over the years.

Ok as long as I got that all cleared up, lol...I guess bringing it up on this site wasn't a good idea, but I was trying to see who was with me on that...so I would like to discuss this more but I don't want anyone to get screwed from MFK. I would love nothing more than to share stories so if anyone wants to email me or something that would be fine. Lol I was only posting it on here just to feel it out see some options, and maybe make some new friends ;-) but there are quite a few places its easy to find almost anything so(just wanted to get that out there) and I too am working on a permit for exotics, and NY makes it very difficult (hence the reason why everyone does things illegally) I will leave if I have to. But thanks for the compliments(nice snake) and here's my email so if anyone wants to talk more without worries ;-)

Does anyone know of laws regarding Anacondas in Indiana? I feel like with as hillbilly as this state is, they shouldnt be a problem. I have had many pythons in my life, but I am looking to step it up and get a real snake.

well at least no one is "selling" illegal species in this thread...lol, i was just a little curious and asking about one ;-) & again if anyone wants to chat more regarding this species PM me or email me ;-)

Permits
Indiana has two types of permits for owning wild animals that can be obtained from local business certification departments. One permit allows a person to own a wild animal that is protected by rule or statute. The other permit allows a person to own a wild animal that may endanger animals or plants. Indiana exotic pet laws require anyone owning a dangerous exotic animal to get a permit for every exotic animal in his possession. These animals include the usual exotic animals, such as lions, tigers, jaguars, panthers, cheetahs, jackals, hyenas, venomous reptiles, alligators, crocodiles, gorillas, orangutans, Burmese pythons, reticulated pythons, green and yellow anacondas.

Keep in mind you have to also check Local laws too
examples
