Most of those apply here as well. It was like 55 a couple nights last week and I was so excited to be able to wear only a t-shirt and shorts to take my dog for a run. It's so funny seeing people who came here from more southern states to go to school. It's 30 and most of us have on a sweatshirt and the people from Florida are wearing like 6 layers including a parka-sized winter coat.

LOL Too true. My GF in NC said it snowed half an inch one day and they had the college closed down. HALF AN INCH!!!!! LOL. Just to make it even worse, the snow was melted by 10:30 am,lol.They have no salt down there because it never snows usually.

Now up here in Ohio it sucks. Does anyone remember last year I think when it snowed that 20 inches, the Blizzard of 08, or could have been 07. It was predicted to snow all of this snow and we still had school that morning. We got out at 11am, with 4 inches if snow already out there, lol. I guess that's just how it is.

You guys hear about Alberta this year? -40 C for a few days at the end of February. Now that would be freakin' cold!

Pretty sure MN's wind chill was about that for a couple of days.

And Im glad that it's warmer here, lol. My GF wants to live in a big city for her career, I told her we cannot live in NYC, or preferably New York at all,lol. I like the winter and all, but anything farther up north than ohio, would just suck. Glad some people can make it up there though, lol.

It can relate. Back in the day I can remember driving to school in 10" of snow with chains on my rear wheel drive car.

I can relate to that. My first car was a '85 T-Bird with a 302. 16 yr old male driving the hills of upstate NY (with no chains lol). That lasted 2 years before I hit a patch of black ice and long story short, got up close and personal with the windshield!lol

were you okay...??? You really do get a lesson in driving upstate ny.. after you drive here you can drive anywhere... with out traffic anyway...
