I'd say its male not that I'm an expert i m not sure what mine is yet its a bit small yours is much bigger so easier to tell

Nice ,but I have been resisting the urge to get a Dovii for about a year now ....you're not helping...
 
defo a male mate, my dovii where taking over at 60% the size of the largest fish, check my youtube channel for the fight just before i sold them to keep my rocky... its in my sig!-)
 
keep the king of cichlids, they are a whole different animal than a jag once at 16-17 inch!-) loadsa people can keep jags, the dovii needs an mfk'er...

often wish i kept mine, they were stunners.. if i had the 100g i have now that would hold rocky and the dovii would be in my 300!
