If you where a noob, everyone would be flaming. If you where putting your azuls in saltwater everyone would be freaking out. But you slowly kill a trigger and no one gives a ****. This is so pathetic...

Where is your extensive research behind this and months of acclimation? Especially with a trigger already that size even what your trying to do could not be accomplished due to the size of the fish. Maybe if you where breeding them or had a fresh batch of babies. Even then they would die younger and slowly rot in fresh water.
first overstocking is okay, then jdm, now this.... MFK is going down because of stuff like this...
keeping the fish in as natural conditions as possible is bestTheCanuck;4409165; said:I hope you just did this for pictures..... Supporting this kind of crap is an easy way to encourage a lot of other fish to be killed. No it can't be done, and everyone knows it only kills the fish faster.

And freshwater dipping is risky and stressful enough.johno27;4409388; said:I hope it was only in there long enough for the photo to be taken
A "freshwater dip" is a good way to treat some parasites in saltwater fish but attempting to acclimate a trigger to freshwater is just stupid
