You thought your agressive tanks were cool, or goldfish were small? Think again...

Here's my pond:

The water isn't that yellow- it's only a tad yellow because of acid rain around here...

and you should change that water

acid rain is not a good thing for a pond

your risking a ph crash and the death of your fish :(

still looks like a bucket and is small for such goldfish

time to take pics of my 13 goldies and show them off

It was raining the day I took that... I did a water change the day before that. Part of the problem is algae- if you look your can see above the algae it's perfectly clear, but below it's yellow.

your tanks and pond are seriously too small for those goldfish

comets get BIG like close to 2 feet if you play your cards right

you might wanna make a new pond of a least a couple hundred gallons if you truly want to see your goldies thrive

These guys (common, comet, shubunkins) only grow to about 1 foot in most aquariums in my experience. In fact, I rarely see any over 10 inches, even in huge ponds. They'll be moving to the 90 so they can grow out more before I have to convince my parents to let me get a 75 gallon for two of them.

just dont want to read a post that has 7 inch gold fish as better than my monsters

If you don't like the post just ignore it :) .

i agree, goldfish size is highly exagerrated, even in large ponds i've only seen them a little over a foot, maybe 15" absolute max that' i've seen
