This is the biggest and strongest person Silva has ever faced. It will also be the first time Silva doesn't have a reach advantage.

That alone makes it interesting.

Griffin can win this by decision in a 3 round fight. If Silva starts out slow he will end up losing hte first and maybe the second round. Griffin throws punches in bunches and can out point Silva.

But... Griffin's chin isn't the greatest (Jardine put him out, Rampage put him on his ass, Evan's TKO'd him in his guard) and Griffin does not hit hard at all.

Griffin can win... and he has won when people have counted him out (see Shogun, Rampage, was winning the first two rounds of hte Evans fight)...

But I still have Silva TKO in the 2nd round after he loses the first. Griffin will bring the fight to Silva, he will hit Silva... and I think that will trigger the old Spider to come out of hiding and do what he does best.

This is actually a pretty interesting prediction.
I think that Forrest will come out tough and that he will probably win the first round. That sit for Silva inbetween rounds could just make him flip the switch to come out like the "old" Silva.
I'm still leaning twords Forrest winning this fight, but this so far is the best thought to make me think that Silva will win.

griffin is a brawler, silva isn't going to stand around for him. provided, he doesn't get tagged, i think silva will pick him apart.

Forrest doesnt have much of a chance. But anyone can get caught, look at matt serra. That guy had no chance other than get lucky and catch G.S.P.

It's just a bad match-up. Silva is a counter puncher and he does really well against aggressive strikers like griffin. And though forrest's jiu-jitsu has improved, I dont think he wants the fight on the ground!

All I have to say is that Griffin is gonna have his hands full. I dont think Griffin is as good as Franklin, and look what Silva did to him. TWICE!!
