Just thought I would add some background to my Andinocara species experience
I have spawned the following two species:
- A. aequinoctialis (had about 2,000 of these last year took a long while to move them all on, lol)
- A. latifrons (wild)
With both species, when I left them with the fry, the female killed them male

so I wont be leaving the A. stalsbergi with the fry I will be rearing them myself.
I still have around 20 F1 A. latifrons left, I have a group of 10 I am growing on to get pairs out for myself, and the rest are being sold.
I did very well with sexing the Orange Saum just by looking at them and had many customers come back and tell me they had spawned the pairs they bought from me.
There are distinctive difference in finage in the two fish I have, but I know this isnt always a good indicator as I did get a very male looking female from my orange saums, and she was a devilish fish killed a lot of her siblings. And the difference in my A. latifrons were few and far between.
