on another note, i FINALLY got to play with the droid x. good lord that thing is a beast, and is blazing fast. makes my little droid sad 
even with my droid overclocked and running a custom rom, the X runs circles around it. and the massive screen is pure sex. i know it sucks that you cant load custom roms on it because of the locked bootloader, but honestly, as good and fast as that phone is, i dont think i would need to touch. it's an amazing machine.
all you would need to do is root it for wifi tethering and youre in business. im buying one for the fiancee in about two weeks. i heard that Asurion ran out of replacement motorola droids for insurance purposes the original one. rumor has it they MAY have to offer the X as a replacement, since its the only comparable phone right now, or the Incredible. if thats the case, i may have to make my original Droid "disappear" or go for a little swim

NO!!!!!!!! My wife's phone got some water damage and asurion would only replace with a motorola devour or an htc eris. They say that the incredible and the X are not comparable phones!

The advantage of having Flash is being able to use it. Honestly, I don't use it anymore lol. It's good to show off, but it kills the battery like a mofo, especially if you're on 3G and not wifi.

not just for watching videos on youtube. pretty much all websites these days use some sort of flash. like on mfk, you can now watch the embedded videos in people's threads. but i dont even use the web browser on my phone that much. i just dont like using a phone for internet. only when i really need to look something up asapiamzrad;4346910;4346910 said:

Running flash on my EVO. I like it but don't need it. Nice eye candy to show to those APPLE phone users.

Believe it or not, but iPhone users can go to youtube.com and watch videos in the browser. That's because it's not Flash anymore, but HTML5. You don't have to use the Youtube app anymore as well.
