I tend to feed them up on lots of frozen bloodworm to get them in the mood. My pair have been a bit awkward lately. Laying eggs, eating eggs, unfertilised eggs, eating fry. Wish they'd calm down and get back to producing fry!

Will get bloodworms next time I go to sell the babies (10ish days from now). Have you had any luck with brine shrimp, the frozen adults? Mine don't seem to enjoy them as much as blood worms...

When I trade in my young angels, I always get 5 packs of frozen bloodworm included in the trade - usually costs £10 for 5 at my lfs - all my fish love them - eat them right out my hand. I never bother with anything else. Did a big water change and filter & tank clean the other day and sure enough, mum & dad spawned yesterday. No white eggs yet, so I think we're in business again. Hopefully they won't eat this lot!

How are the eggs doing??

Mine are just about to spawn, probably tomorrow. Both of them have there papillas out and are cleaning there terroccotta pot!

I supply The Fish Store. It's on Roosevelt. I haven't seen altums at there store but I have seen something else... I think there peruvian...?
