Does it take anything special to sell them to a pet store or does it just depend on the store ??
They have to be healthy.. main thing always.. and the larger you get them the more they are worth.. and angels never go out of style..they are always sought after.. sort of the number one selling fish for the seller and the buyer.. people always buying them.. but some LFS have their own suppliers so you need to ask..

Questions:

Is lip locking in Angelfish Breeding Behavior?

Do Angelfish lip lock to see who is the dominant one?

So Angelfish lip lock for territory?

Or do they liplock for all of those reasons?

Reason being is I had 3 Angelfish in my 75 gallon and one was getting picked on. Lots of missing scales, torn fins... So I moved that one to my 55 gallon. But to move it to the 55 gallon I had to move the Angel that was in the 55 into the 75. So now I have the Agnelfish that was getting picked on safe in the 55 gallon and the Angelfish that used to be in the 55 in with the other two. (If that makes any sense....)

Now the new Angelfish in the 75 is liplocking with one of the Angelfish that has been in there since the begining and picking on the other one.

I was wondering the same thing ? My Angels did the same thing Saturday. Its the first time i saw them do it, but it was weird because it didn't happen til i turned the light out? They went on an on for i bet ten min.

I moved the Baby Angelfish that were born on the 14th into the new 20 gallon. Last night I tested the nitrates and got a reading of 20, did a 50% water change tonight and put them in.
I also moved the remaining fry from the parents into the 10gal. The parents went nuts looking for them, but they seem to be calming down.

cool. my pair eggs didn't make it the male didn't do his job. maybe next time he will. :D

All of the above is correct answer.. is is what they do when they are disputing, as does any cichlid...just keep an eye out for torn fins or injuries...if none occur, then you can be maybe they areView attachment 436344

So all of the above are correct.. could be just for territory between males or breeding behavior between males and females..

Mom Ate the White Eggs This Time! They all hatched yesterday morning, they have been moved to the back right hand corner of the tank.

The Babys that where born on the 14th are morphing and looking more like angelfish by the day!

All very exciting.

Still no word back from the buyer that I emailed 1 or 2 weeks ago.... oh well.
