im thinking its a gar but i will tell the story with pics ;)

once i started looking around that spot i found a bunch more skeletons,
and a trail through the bushes to the waters edge.
my dad thinks a fox is eating good in the neighborhood. :D

1st pic- is a bird?i think it is.

2nd-another pleco right where all the others were.
and to the left of it is what i think is another gar.

3rd,4th,is the gar from the 2nd pic.

5,6,7,are of the skull from the first post here.
i touched it and it fell apart. :irked:
pic7 is actually the top, hard to tell.

8 is that gar from 2,3,4

9 is that gar after i tried to flip it

10,11,the 3 closest to the quarter are the 2 lower jawbones and one upper from the first skull i posted in this thread.

then the other 2 sets are from todays findings

then more pics of all 3 sets

Now that we have these pics(much better by the way) I can conclusively say from the jaw pics that this is a florida gar. Here's a pic of one's skull.

From the earlier pics they skull looked more expanded some times it's hard to remember that skulls tend to seperate once all the connective tissues fall off of them.
