Animals torn to pieces by lions in front of baying crowds

they think its cool because ..... they are tryin to prove that nothing bothers them ....its a stupid male thing ...i remember guys use to do it at school have nasty vids on their phone for girls to go ewww at lol

kinda like our chav culture... they do stuff to be cool....see how 1 commented then the other stright after agreeing ..... they feel safer to have uneducated views in packs to back eachother up than having individual ones.

you guys dont feed ur animals/fish live stuff? Goldfish, rabbits, mice, goats, chickens...its all the same. Besides, its more natural to feed the lions live food than chunks of meat. Makes it that much more interesting when they escape and tear the tourists apart.

I dont like animal cruelty, but this is NOT cruel. Its just how they feed them, and make sure they get a lil excersise while doin it.

My only thing is..

If it were for feeding purposes wouldnt you think instead of dropping the goat so many feet into a pit infront of people to laught at it, they would take one of the vehicles (with no visitors) in the back of the park let the goats go in the cage and let the lions or w/e do their thing. I am mean in the wild wouldnt they naturally hunt down there prety and do their own thing? I mean the people I know who have pets and feed live food just let the live food go in the cage/tank and let the animal do its own thing. They dont have people come over and watch it and laught at it.. I guess thats what I dont understand. Then again some people are sick.

I mean I get that its not cruel to feed them live food, but the way they do it isnt that whats cruel?

I am just curious on peoples opnions on that...

we understand why they do it for the cash and such but i could do all kinds of fd up stuff and make a better living but ill tell you something.Their is a time in your life weather through loss of loved ones being family freinds or pets,you start to see things diferent.When a goat is getting ripped apart it is screeming in pain and you can see it in its face.You can hear it and dropping them off a wall is not like nature so to me its wrong and realy what seems to be what we are hating the most here is the joy the customers are having doing it because its not their job is it?

fully agreed Jason. It the sadism in it, the awfull snuff element and the sickos who get off on this.

In China they start young on the road to disrespect ( I go there often, I know what I am talking about, I've seen the markets and the street abbattoirs )

To compare this freakish roman circus to fish wild feeding is being plain stupid or intentionally provocative.

I hope for the latter, but am afraid it is the first.

am i the only one that just hates zoos in general? there are tons that are corrupt and do some pretty sick sh*t and living life in a cage is just wrong. to be honest if i had the power to ban fishkeeping i would, most fish in the fish trade have premature deaths and many are horribly mistreated. I kno i sound like a hypocrite since im a fishkeeper but all i can do is save as many fish as i can and giv them the best conditions i can. I dont have a problem with feeders that are consumed and killed naturally since its nature but theres nothing natural about dangling chickens and goats over a crowd of mistreated and starving lions. I feel just as bad for the lions that hav such sh*t lives and are so mistreated and raised so unnaturaly and cruely. the turtle thing is just plain sik and makes me wana chuck half dollars at all the a** holes throwin coins at em. and for all the people sayin its not cruel its nature, its not nature. In nature animals are hunted as part of a natural balanced foodchain and usually killed quikly, and not bred to be slaughtered and suffer inevitable horrible deaths like the animals in these zoos. The lions in these zoos are not raised hunters and dont kno how to kill like they would in the wild.

What do you think cities are? If you compare, a city and a zoo is not so different.
