G Gundam (ok lots of people hate it b/c they dont give it the chance... the first bit kind of sucks (at least the battles do) and some parts are annoying but its extremely different from the other gundam series and is actually enjoyable once you start to get further into the series.. at least I found it entertaining and enjoyable - I like how they set it up with the characters too)

Anything with 50 episodes or less you should be able to finish.. just watch an episode or 2 a night.. I dont have much time either but thats what I do.

wow that's a long list. let me ask you and everyone else this then to narrow it down or at least so i can start with first,............. as i said before, i'm into sci fi stuff, ninja stuff, monsters, people with powers, etc,............ which one or two of the series you listed or others have listed best matches that?

or matches the movies i listed?

and also with all the movies listed, which ones matches my criteria better?

i'm not going to go out and buy them all at once, i'll try a couple at a time

Devil Lady is a good short series and so is Elfen Lied. Perfect Blue is one of my favorite movies even though it's kind of weird. Gantz is my favorite series though. I think you'd like Gantz b/c it has guns, monsters, and blood. So does everything else I listed actually. You'd probably like Soul Eater and Ghost in the Shell which is a classic as Ash recommended also.

Uhm they are all kind of sci-fi, mystery, fantasy, samuari/ninja type of stuff.

Do watch Kenshin though.

Seriel experiments lain is short (12 or 14 episodes something like that) She gets caught up in a cyber world that involves a series of events with her I dont want to ruin it.

Neon Gensis Evangelion deals with these deformed looking monster things called Angels that attack Japan and this kid is chosen to pilot the evangelion which is basically like an angel but its no "bad" I guess you could say. Dont want to say much more on it.

Tales of Eternia is more of a fantasy/adventure type I really liked it though.

Fushugi Yuugi - Girl gets into different world type universe type deal, she is a priestess so is her friend who got sucked into it and they eventually dont like eachother b/c of a dude.... sounds more of a girly thing but I really like it.

Ghost in the Shell- cyborg/csi in simple terms

Blade of the Immortal - Samuari type deal

Gilgamesh - apocalyptic is how many describe it, battle of two opposing forces, a tomb is involved.

Ergo Proxy - nuke, monster, killings, androids

Angleic Layer - game that has layerse and you create an angel and compete in tournaments and is connect to girls mother.

Battle Angel Alita - earth=waste land, cyborgs, floating piece of land that everyone rich lives on, almost everyone wants to go, smart scientits, bounty hunters.

Elfen Lied- new human race, split personalitys, lots of blood

Soul Eater- well Soul eater universe, evil humans, weapons

Trinity Blood - mars, alien technologies, vampiric things fighting humans...

Code Geass - Superpowers, domination of territories, special abilites

Yeah not really the best summaries but way to much typing lol.

Hayo Miyazaki's work is A++++ stuff!

Some other movies he did that I loved are:

-Castle In The Sky
-Howl's Moving Castle
-Necasia

Otherwise I know a lot of good series but I'm only familiar with Miyazakis work.....

Some series, even though you don't really like them, (I highly recommend) are:

-Ah! My Goddess

I'll try and list more when I remember which ones I have watched....

seen this, it's quite a few years old already i believe but it's good. school girl vampire chic,........... awesome. they are doing a movie based on this anime coming out soon if not already

oh yeah....i liked blood+,never watched the original blood the last vampire.
the movie already came out,heard it was crap.

lol frank n sons has more than just 1 both for anime i used to go there back in high school and like 30 to 40% of the booths were all anime related definitely a place to go to for anime
