i agree to a point, it really just needs someone to take the bull by the horn. right now there's too many indians, not enough chiefs.
 
Seattle would be a definite for me. Portland is less likely and Spokane is out of the questions for me.

Out of all the fish store I've been too I think "The Wet Spot" is the best fish store I've been to...

Mel's place is very cramped, its awesome to see and chat with Mel but its much better when theres not alot of people.

you could always pm him though and ask.

ive been to every northwest mfk meet, usually its 4-5 guys running around a few lfs's and thats it.
i agree that checking out stores is fun, but without something like a bbq to bring folks together and just hang out it really just becomes awkward and boring.

i do have a house and barbeque, but am an hour from seattle. our house is also a "dry" house(no alcohol) so i dont know how some feel bout that. other than that i am game.

there is also saltwater state park in fed way, which would provide bbq/park and the beach to run around on. alki beach in seattle is cool too, i know there are others in seattle, i just dont know where.
 
Alkai would be cool. But really crowded over the weekends (assuming the weather is decent)

Sand point, there's a park called Magnuson Park there is also a decent idea. It's not as crowded as Alkai.

How about a trip to the Seattle Aquarium? I haven't been there in years...
 
Yeh it's nothing compared to the Vancouver Aquarium.

They have some real River monsters there...

But the Seattle one would still be fun to go to. :)

This method has worked just fine.
 
If you guys want to do one in Seattle, I could be there in 6 months to a year. If you want to do one sooner, it would have to be in Spokane for me.
 
I Live close to Portland Or. But can go to either Portland or Seattle, Pm me with details when we get them
