Who invented the specific standards that determine if BD's are real. Three rows of spots, blue or black colored eye, spots on claspers and belly etc.

Exporters from brazil have a completely different set of standards for what they consider BD then the standards that Asia has set.

Would love to know who made these standards?

somebody in asia??? they seem to set the standard in all of the fish anyway....

I'de love to know the fishermen's standards........

this is what I asked you Mike...

Who is the Almighty Black Diamond God who wrote the 5 Black Diamond Commandments

All hype in my opinion but they are undeniable the most beautiful leopoldi known to man. And this is a hobby, so as T1 always says it comes down to if you want it buy it, period.

I am VERY curious to know where these BD "rules" "guidelines" originated from. Likely from the guy who had a nice leo with 3 rows, blue eye, and some belly spotting etc.

The Taiwanese set the BD to the highest standard.

Unless you get into genetics its all looks IMO.

Example being Motorros, whether Royal, Triple Spot, Liger, they are all the same class/family. IMO
