swans huh?? I know a place that always has a huge pair, pretty soon i should see them with the babies..

liz u get scarlet tanagers, bluebirds, grosebeaks, indigo buntings, orioles, and all those songbirds too??

how about blue and green herons, and the great and snowy egrets??

we have a vast amount of species that i am just learning about.. as i take their pics i learn all about them.. but yes i reconize alot of the ones you have mentioned..and i am looking forward to taking their pics..if i can take a good pic of the hummers.. i will definitly get some pretty good ones of the others.. these guys are difficult.. lol

I feel ya on that. U must have a feeder of some sort... they also like long bell shaped flowers, like snapdragons n such.. just place them on the other side of a really clean window, and be still! haha much easier said than done

I have the uncanny and dorky ability to ID any bird in my area..
 
i just took this one.. he is getting wise to me now.. i was only a couple of feet away from him..as soon as he hears the camera off he goes.. patience... patience... i will succeed eventually.. just not today..lolddd 004.JPGso far i just have two coming and going.. i quess i should wait until alot more show up..once the word gets out that i set up a couple of feeders...

when i get the little feet in perfect focus then i should have a good shot..lol
