Another Hunting Thread - How Do You Guys Feel About This?

With out the money used to buy the licenses there would be no way to fund protecting these animals? How much money have any of you donated to protect endangered species? No it's the money that is spent on the licenses that goes to protect the animals if we don't buy hunting / fishing licenses how long do you think the dnr would be around yes it's sad to see animals killed for sport I for one kill for food but they have to get that money somehow

I am not going and telling anyone I am just proving a point that's all. This is the second time you have called names who is the child here?

I had an MBA professor that said when people don't have facts they try to use logic when logic can't be used they use generalizations, when generalizations don't work they resort to defamation and name calling. hmmmm

That's not true. Go here http://www.ecosafariafrica.com/index.php and book a safari. No hunting, no license fees...and guess what...money still goes towards conservation. Just a different approach.

This is just one of many many many companies that do this.

Hunting is not the be-all and end-all when it comes to conservation.

Rather oxymoronic IMO

Ps that girl is hot but if i wanted to shoot exotic animals, id play big game hunter

I wasn't aware hunting was a banned topic of discussion.

I know guns is a banned topic but this thread isn't about guns. it was originally about how this young girl's pictures got taken down by facebook when it didn't appear to be violating any of their rules.

if you feel there is a violation here, go ahead and report the thread and the mods will look into it. but being that mods have participated in this thread, I don't think hunting is a banned topic. I mean, it has the word "hunting" in the title, this thread wouldn't last a day if hunting discussion wasn't allowed. plus every year during hunting season someone makes a hunting thread
 
It's getting ridiculous in here. Lot of personal shots and insulting other members.

That said, these animals are not endangered animal species like panda or gorillas. And that rhino she shot? That rhino wasn't even killed, he got tranquilized because the rhino was injured and needs to be captured so the vets can take a closer look at his injuries. Habitat loss and poaching is what it makes animals endangered species. Poaching and illegal snares claimed many lives than the legal hunt. Legal hunts just let you hunts a specific individual and you are not allowed to shoot at any animals you sees. Also because of people are expanding many wildlife reservations are fenced, therefore the animals cannot migrate out of the area to seeking more food sources. That resulted into overpopulated in a specific area and they must lowering the numbers before they depleted the natural resources. They have enough problems with man eating lions, leopards prowling into urban areas and overabundance elephants that eats everything.
