Got all the trim and the exterior done today. Just a little more sanding tomorrow on some areas I hit with bondo bc im ocd

Thanks! Yea I’m gonna move my marbled and BD ray from my 300 and also my arrowana.
Was gonna eurobrace the top but went in a different direction and decided to just do a single brace/frame top around it all. I also wanted to use the glass lids from my 300 gallon. Save some money and not have to worry about figuring out a lid too. Plus their in real good shape. So after doing some math I figured out my cuts and than took some extra maple trim I had and made little picture frames for the glass to drop into. I also made my upper trim an extra 3/4” taller so it would all tuck in and look seamless once it’s all screwed in too. The frame is upside down in the pics in case anyone’s confused.
No real updates today (started on the stand ) but here’s a better view of my top/brace I made for my drop in glass lids.
Nice work. So your not going to keep your 300 going? Sound like you might need it in the future for any day pups
