And the commons seem to eat and grow...he'll probably grow leaps and bounds overnight one day.
Mine would grow in spurts. He would stop attacking the food when he was in the grow stage...
 
I really like the design alot, when someone has a tank of that size it needs to feel like it belongs in the space. Your tank looks and feels(from the photos atleast) very well placed. Go boulder shopping, take a drive down a dirt road and get some free decorations. for them fish ^_^
 
Just finished reading this thread and all I can say is WOW...probably the best looking stand alone tank build I've read yet. Great job and congrats..
