Another Super Red Texas Attempt

The hybrids started out as a shiny object but hijacked my fish room. The Red Texas projects aren't so bad, but the flowerhorn are a pain and weening them down. I'm finally getting my pures set up for breeding. Those are why I got back into this in the first place.

I used to be anti hybrid, but I've warmed to flowerhorns. Good flowerhorns anyway. The low grade ones are less appealing than normal amphs IMHO.

My wife wanted me to get flowerhorn in the beginning and I said no way, they're hideous. Then I bought a tank that came with a couple fish with one being a janky Thai Silk. But the personality of the fish won me over real quick and when I started researching them I got hooked. I bred the gold base and now weening them out. My SRD's finally just bred for me and I think I have about 10 free swimmers from them so I'll raise them and see how they turn out. 10 is way better than a few hundred...lol
