Another Tank Question

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
if the tank is already drilled then you don't need to get overflow box, a pump is going to run you around $100 depends on what GPH are you looking at, I got my mag drive 12 pump for $99.99. if you need over flow box then depends on what brand and flow rate, price varies.
as for plumbing you can go to homedepot or lowes for PVC pipes and fittings those won't cost you much.

you just need to figure out the flow rate of your plumbing before you decide on a pump.

thanks for the info guys, yea this 125 im currently lookin at doesnt seem to be the best deal I've ever seen, so I'm most likely going to wait until I find another deal, I've been looking on craigslist like a mad man all day today and btw does noone on cragslist check their e-mails or what? ha cuz I've e-mailed about six different people and no one is replying back, frustrating for sure...

Well after a relentless search on craigslist I managed to find another deal on a 125 gallon that I am going to buy, I basically bought it over the phone. Its the whole she-bang. Tank, stand, lights, lid, filter and a few extra goodies. The filter is the Eheim Pro II with the thermofilter. The lights that come with it are regular flourescent ones and also come with grow lights or whatever the hell theyre called. Hes givin me 75 lbs of African Root wood as well and gravel if I want it. Hes also givin me a 115 gallon holding tank that comes with heaters and a pump for when I do water changes and for aging water. Anywho, Im gettin all of this for $500 and I figured this was a deal so Im jumpin on it and will hopefully be pickin her up next week. I'm PUMPED!
