it's really not a big difference, but it's there. Both of yours have similar head shape, so it's not just your biggest one. Below are some pics of mine. this is my biggest one, not as big as yours though. only about 22". the front of the head (the mouth region) looks slightly 'tilted up' and is not as thick and robust looking. does that make any sense?CDM;2317320; said:That sounds new to me. Here's mine, and let me see yours for comparison.

LOL yeah i'm into details here because i wish mine were like yoursCDM;2320835; said:LOL, you are really into details, bro. But, yup, the difference is there. Yours looks like "head-up", and mine looks like "looking forward". Btw, that lap on the lower left corner on the last pic has great contrast. thumb up.
Thanks vanimate. It's started painted dark since 13~14", and well, let's say it depends on individuals (also on the environment).vanimate;2354328; said:Wow that ansorgii is beautiful. At what size do they go from their light stage back to a dark stage?

the last large scale before the pectrol fin looks rounded on CDM's and elongated on Inf's.
The ridge behind the eyes looks wider and more pronounced on CDM's
The top lip angle seems to slope downward on CDM's and straight out from Inf's...
I think the ridge behind the eyes is also what makes the head look like it is looking up or down.
