What are the dimensions of the tank? In that first full tank shot it doesn't look like a standard 6x2x2', looks shorter and wider.

It's 3" thick. There's another congicus 2" shorter than the big one, but, it's only 2" thick.

The tank is 6x2x2'2" (WxDxH). It's probably due to the super wide angle lens that let you feel so.

how slow do the ansorgeii grow

My one seems to be a slow growing one. Some of my friends who got ansorgii of the same batch has their ansorgii already grow up to 18" in a year.

The color of ansorgii species are in a wide range there are green, yellow, and brown, but, they all have neat checkerboard pattern.
