One has a nipped tail with reddness. The other is full of red and has streaks on the sid.e I got paranoided and move them out ASAP into 1 10g. Now I'm treating with salt, parasite clear, and fungus clear. Last time I didn't do anything and it died so I'm hoping this time I have different fate.

thats the thing I would do, hope they get well soon, keep us update.

Bloody streaks is usually bacterial infection. Use maracyn 1 or 2.

Damn... At least you are able to do what you are doing. Good luck man.

How long have you been noticing the redness?

Any behavioral changes?

Judging from the sizes, they appear to be from the same source... Do any of your other fish seem to be effected?

I ask the questions out of genuine curiousity. My knowledge is (admittedly) limited on bichir treatment. The only thing i've dealt with for mine is Fungus Clear and Prazi Pro.

Sucks bro, it's 99% a bacterial infection.

yeh bacterial infection, this happened to my biggest endli, but i did 40% waterchange every 2-3 days and added salt until it recovered, recovered after 2 water changes

If it's bacterial infections, then how was it introduced into my tank? Is there a way to compeletely eliminate the bacterial so all my bichirs would stay healthy forever?
