If it's bacterial infections, then how was it introduced into my tank? Is there a way to compeletely eliminate the bacterial so all my bichirs would stay healthy forever?
yeah never add organic matter to the tank :(

you should do a water change, add salt and raise the temp. i dont like to use any medications they are too crazy and might kill your fish, salt works perfect for me.

This is a sign thay you have reached the breaking point of what your tank can handle as far as bioload goes. You need to increase water volume by adding a large sump, or part with some stock.

Also, chwck to make sure your filters are on.

I received a pm stating it could be septemicia. Today one of the ansorgii was thrashing all over the tank swimming funny. I did a water change and increase full dose of fungus clear. Within 3 hours I have two dead ansorgiis. I'm done with captive breed ansorgii. I will not buy another one!!!!:irked::swear::swear::swear::swear: :swear::swear:

The other part of me tell me to go get one more cuz it's a challenge. This is turning into my altum hobby which I keep going back for more each time I get kicked. Maybe I should've stick to half dose on meds and these guys wouldn't die.

At some point this is true on the plateu point but I don't think I reached the maximum point. I still think these are weak in the genes to have resistances against disease. Previous owner had these guys in a planted sump so water was pristine clean.

That sucks... sorry for your loss bro
